In one off-season Rob Ryan and been fired by the Cowboys, almost hired by the Rams, and now MAYBE hired by the Saints. Ryan boldly proclaimed he be hired in "5 minutes" after Jerry gave him his walking papers. That seemed unrealistic.
The Saints job is a great fit if for no other reason because they were LAST in the NFL in total defense last season. They gave up 28 points and 440 yards a game. Whoa. Maybe they should create an incentive program to encourage players to play better. The Cowboys defense wasn't much better, giving up 25 points a game and over 350 yards.
At least now cameramen across the NFL will have someone else to zoom in on during games as it seemed last year with the Cowboys the DC got more face time than the head coach.
