LSU beat TCU at JerryWorld on Saturday night. The Cajuns left pleased with a defense that looked solid and quarterback that looked competent and a coach that didn't look confused.

TCU my have extended their quarterback controversy with Boykin and Pachall both playing and neither taking the reigns. If anything Boykin looked a little more capable of moving the squad, having played more in the second half. LSU can make anybody look inadequate, so don't judge either performance too harshly. Or judge them harshly, it's 'Merica.

TCU got a 100 yard kick off return from B.J. Catalon. Other than that, they were limited offensively with only 13 first downs and less than 200 yards passing. The Frogs blood spitting defense was without Devonte Fields but they still did a manageable job against the run.

TCU get Southeastern Louisiana at home next should get ugly.
