Houston made history on Saturday by winning the first ever American Athletic Conference football game in front of dozens of fans at Lincoln Financial Field in Philly. Seriously, were the gates locked? Was the start time wrong? Anyway, the bigger story was the arrival of freshman John O'Korn for the Cougars. The Floridian quarterback came in for a struggling David Piland and may never leave. Head coach Tony Levine said the Piland had a knee injury, but we'll see.

Ryan Jackson also had a huge day running the ball for Houston and Deontay Greenberry had a huge day catching the ball. Greenberry had 14, 14! catches for 165 while Jackson broke tripple digits with 109 rushing. Welcome to the conference Houston, Temple is now your rival and trips to Philly are common place. Enjoy.

Houston is off next week before the Bayou Bucket against Rice.
