UTSA hosted its first BCS opponent on Saturday when No. 13 Oklahoma State came calling. Oklahoma State won, and handily, but UTSA gave a decent accounting of itself. OSU was up 42-7 in the 3rd, from that point UTSA made some hay as the Cowboys seemed to lose a little interest and the Roadrunners lost any desire to rn the ball. When you play the Pokes it's all about pace. You have to keep up. UTSA had trouble with that part, but offensively the Runners didn't look bad. Eric Soza had 308 yards passing with 3 TDs.
JW Walsh had a whopping 3 incomplete passes, that's just unfair. I don't think there's a QB controversy brewing in Stillwater. According to SI however there may be other controversies to take up the Cowboys time.
UTSA needs to frame that 4th quarter when they outscored the Cowboys 28-7. They get Arizona on the road next week. Could be another tough one for the upstart Roadrunners.
