Historic Houston Season Ends on a High

Houston completed a historic season with a historic bowl win over Florida State on Thursday in the Chic-Fil-A Peach Bowl. The Coogs boat raced the Seminoles paced by Greg Ward Jr. and DeMarcus Ayers and a defense that stifled FSU at almost every turn.

Ward Jr. rushed for two touchdowns and added another through the air while Ayers ran, caught and yes, threw is way to a great game. Ayers caught nine passes for 82 yards, rushed for 17 yards and threw a touchdown pass on a reverse pass.

Tom Herman completed a historic first season at Houston and with the way the Coogs are recruiting and who they’re bringing back, Houston should be a contender the American Athletic Conference next year as well.
