Mason Fine's Injury Makes Him Doubtful for USM, Jeffrey Wilson is Out

UNT's freshman starting quarterback Mason Fine is doubtful for Southern Miss after suffering a shoulder injury against Western Kentucky on Saturday. Fine's shoulder injury, according to coach Seth Littrell, is about pain tolerance and whether Fine can play effectively through the pain. Alec Marks would start in Fine's absence.

In worse news, Jeffrey Wilson is likely out of the season with a knee injury suffered in practice last week. He sat out the game with Western Kentucky and it looks more and more that he may be out for the season.

The news is better for UNT's best coverman Eric Jenkins. Jenkins missed Saturdays game, but is expected back for USM.

Here's coach Seth Littrell's weekly presser from today.
