Former Houston head coach Tony Levine will join the Western Kentucky staff as an offensive assistant and special teams coordinator. Levine took last year off after three seasons in charge of the Cougars. Well, we say he took a year off, but he did coach his sons' flag football teams this past fall.
Levine spent part of the 2015 season visiting other schools including Western Kentucky.
Levine finished his time at Houston with a 21-17 record including two straight bowl games. Levine was on Kevin Sumlin's original staff at Houston and recruited much of the talent that Tom Herman used to win the AAC and the Peach Bowl.
