North Texas Finds its Running Backs Coach: Seth Littrell

North Texas parted ways with Tommy Perry, the lone holdover from the Dan McCarney regime and running backs coach for the Mean Green in 2016. Perry also coached special teams last season. North Texas found a special teams coach in former Notre Dame assistant Marty Biagi last week. Yesterday they found a running back coach, a guy named Seth Littrell.

Head coach Seth Littrell will double up as running back coach for North Texas in 2017. Littrell is no stranger to coaching running backs, he coached them under Mike Leach at Texas Tech, Mike Stoops at Arizona, and under Kevin Wilson at Indiana. Plus Littrell played running back at Oklahoma in the last 90s to 2000.

For now it looks like the Mean Green staff for 2017 is set, Perry was the only coach not retained.
