Houston puts finishing touches on indoor facility

Houston's 20 million dollar facility is almost ready for the Cougars. Crews are finishing up the exterior with giant lettering spelling out Houston and inside the field turf surface is going down. Flooding from Hurricane Harvey delayed construction, and workers pumped water out of the facility along with several other Cougar athletic facilities including Hofheinz Pavilion which was a lake after Harvey's torrential rain.

The sparkling new indoor facility should be ready by the end of October according to coach Major Applewhite.
