After Tech's bowl loss to South Florida, the hollow feeling continued with the news that Keke Coutee will enter the NFL draft. The junior receiver from Lufkin finished the season with 93 catches for 1,429 yards and ten touchdowns. Coutee's production increased rapidly from eleven catches as a freshman to 55 last season to 93. Also, Coutee gave the Red Raiders a decent return threat.
Who knows where Coutee's draft stock sits, he's undersized and overly quick, but it only takes one team to fall in love, and he's off the board.
In addition to Coutee, Tech loses four seniors, Dylan Cantrell, Cameron Batson, Ja’Deion High and Derrick Willies, from the receiving corps.
