Jordan Elliott Transfers From Texas

Former Four-Star Houston Westside defensive tackle Jordan Elliott is transferring out of Texas after one season. The Army All-American played in six games in 2016 and was thought to be the jewel of Charlie Strong 2016 class when Elliott chose Texas over Michigan and just about everyone else.

Elliott was apparently in Tom Herman's "You Need to Lose Some Weight" group at Texas. The 6'4 318 pounder made eight tackles last season including 1.5 for loss. Elliott injured his knee against Iowa State but came back later in the season.

Elliott was recruited by Brick Haley to Texas and claims to have been pondering the move for several months. He announced via Snapchat or Chatsnap for those of you dedicated to tired bits. Elliott will need to sit out a year if he chooses to transfer to an FBS school.
