Texas true sophomore Zach Shackelford has been named to the Rimington Watch List. Since 2000, the Rimington has gone to the best center in college football. Shackelford was named a freshman All-America and Honorable Mention All-Big 12 as a first year player at Texas in 2016.
He came to the Forty Acres from Belton, and started nine games in his first season, including the season opener against Notre Dame. Shackelford underwent surgery this offseason to repair his ankle after a series of high ankle sprains.
