North Texas' Tyler Wilson has left the program.

According to the Czar of North Texas sports, the great @brettvito, receiver Tyler Wilson is no longer with the Mean Green program

The reasons for Wilson's departure isn't known at this time, but head coach Seth Littrell confirmed Wilson was no longer on the team this morning. Wilson is a true sophomore out of Arlington Martin.

Wilson caught 13 passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns in his lone season with the Mean Green. He played one of his best games in UNT's loss to Army in the Heart of Dallas Bowl, catching five passes for 81 yards and a touchdown.

Wilson was named CUSA Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts against Rice in October.

The Mean Green lost three of their top four receivers to either graduation or transfer.
