LSU and UTSA to Open 2020 in Death Valley

LSU and UTSA have agreed to open the 2020 season with a game at Tiger Stadium. The Tigers will pay the Roadrunners $1.4 million for the trouble.

Interestingly, the Tigers will play four Texas teams in 2020. After the opener against UTSA, LSU welcomes Texas to Death Valley and a week later the Tigers travel to NRG to play Rice. Of course LSU already plays Texas A&M as part of conference play.

UTSA will travel to three non-conference opponents in 2020, with the trip to Baton Rouge, a trip to Texas State, and a roadie to Memphis.
