According to North Texas beat man Brett Vito, Keegan Brewer and his flowing locks are transferring to Denton. Brewer, a Lake Dallas Prospect, was a preferred walk-on at Kansas last fall, where he caught 15 passes for 86 yards.
At 5-11 177 pounds, Brewer was a standout at Lake Dallas where he caught 108 passes and scored 24 touchdowns for the Falcons during his senior season. He was the District MVP, All-State, and a Dallas-Fort Worth First Down Club Player of the Year Finalist.
Brewer will sit out 2017 due to NCAA transfer rules. He'll have three years eligibility remaining starting in 2018.
