Dwaine Thomas leaves A&M Program

Texas A&M's linebacking corps took another hit as junior Dwaine Thomas announced via twitter his exit from the team. Thomas, from Boutte, Louisiana, played in twelve games last season, making one start - in the bowl game against Kansas State last year. Thomas ended 2016 with six tackles.

A three-star prospect, Thomas chose A&M over Oklahoma, Kansas, Houston, and Louisiana Lafayette.

The Aggies are down to six scholarship linebackers, seven if you include Santino Marchiol who has yet to participate in fall camp. Earlier this off-season, Richard Moore left the program for SMU.
