In a move that probably lines up with reason and discretion officials from Houston and UTSA agreed to postpone their opener this weekend as the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey continues to ravage South Texas. No date was given for a makeup, but the game will be played at some point.
Looking at both team's schedules, neither shares an open date. However, on November 11th, Houston is open, and UAB plays UTSA. Going back, UTSA and UAB share an open date on September 30th so there's a chance the Houston/UTSA game can move to November 11th. That's provided UAB will agree to move their game with the Road Runners up over a month.
