Reggie Hemphill-Mapps Announces intent to Transfer

Texas deep receiving corps lost an asset when Reggie Hemphill-Mapps announced his intention to transfer. Hemphill-Mapps, a redshirt freshman from Manvel, played in all thirteen Longhorn games last season making 37 catches for 431 yards. Those 37 catches were the most by a freshman in Longhorn history.

Receiver might be the deepest, most talented roster spot for Texas. The Horns return ultra-talented pass catchers like John Burt, Collin Johnson, Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Jerrod Heard, and Devin Duvernay. Texas also added a couple of talented prep players in the early signing period.

No landing sport of Hemphill-Mapps yet, but we'll keep you posted as information disseminates.
