Houston Linebacker Austin Robinson Receives 6th Year

Houston linebacker Austin Robinson received word that the NCAA granted his petition for waiver and a sixth year of eligibility. Robinson will return to the Houston defense after seeing action in all 12 games last season with four starts. He totaled 33 tackles with four tackles for loss and one sack on the year.

Robinson, who played his high school ball at Episcopal, transferred to Houston from UTSA in 2015 and, after sitting out the 2015 season, played for the Cougars in 2016. Robinson started four games for the Roadrunners at quarterback in 2014.
