Texas State's 2018 schedule is out, aka "Operation Beyond Two Wins." 2018 is the first season the Sun Belt will move to a two-division format with Texas State in the West along with Arkansas State, Louisiana Lafayette, Louisiana Monroe, and South Alabama.
Texas State starts off with a road trip to the cradle of college football, Rutgers, before hosting Texas Southern. Then they head down 35 for a showdown with UTSA. The 'Cats round out non-conference play with a home date against New Mexico State at the end of October.
League play opens with back to back home dates vs. Louisiana Lafayette and Georgia Southern. If the Bobcats can take advantage of those two dates, they'll be in great shape. They then travel to improving Louisiana Monroe. The schedule is backloaded with a tough road trip to Georgia State a home game vs. Appalachian State, a road test at eastern favorite Troy, and a home game with western favorite Arkansas State.
