Matt Rhule dismissed linebacker Eric Ogor from the Bear roster after a pattern of wrongdoing. Ogor was one of four Baylor player suspended a few weeks ago; speculation is that at least three of the four were "separated" from the program for an alleged sexual assault incident involving members of the equestrian team.
Ogor missed ten games in 2016 due to an undisclosed violation of team rules. Rhule reinstated Ogor when he came on board in the spring of 2017. Ogor, who played at Richmond Foster, contributed in a reserve role last season.
The Waco Tribune, always on the cutting edge of Baylor football did a Q & A last fall with Ogor and described him as "actually a sweet guy." They also characterized his 2016 as "played sparingly" rather than writing anything about his ten-game suspension. It's a wonder the Trib missed the sexual assault scandal sitting right under their nose.
