When you're tired of spending hours in the office pouring over film or weeks on the road recruiting it's probably time to get out of coaching. For Tony Levine, the former head coach at Houston and most recently an assistant at Purdue, the time away from his family sped up his hitting the eject.
Levine isn't looking for another job; he's landed a pretty sweet gig as an owner-operator at a Chick-fil-A in Missouri City. According to SI.com, Levine's family fell in love with Houston and as his coaching career continued he started to miss milestones like youth league games and dance recitals.
The store, which will open in a few months, will give Levine the flexibility to be around his family, even coaching his sons flag football teams. If you're in Missouri City in the next few months, keep a lookout for Levine's store, he's one of the good guys in college football.
