Houston 2016 signee Collin Wilder announced via Twitter his intention to transfer to Big 10 power Wisconsin.
Wilder played in thirteen games as a true freshman out of Katy in 2016. Last season Wilder, a safety, played in two games before injuring his knee and missing the remaining ten. The Cougars granted Wilder his release, and we're not aware of any conditions placed on his ultimate destination.
In spite of his injury in 2017, Wilder's been remarkably healthy. At Katy, he started a national record 64 straight games.
24/7 rated Wilder a 3-star prospect out of high school. He chose Houston over Boston College, Duke, Missouri, Northwestern, and Iowa State.
Best of luck to Collin with the Badgers.
