Texas State Adding Two New Video Screens

Larry Teis is hard at work at Texas State. The University is in the closing weeks of a complete overhaul of Strahan Coliseum, the baseball and softball complexes are getting new turf, dugouts and other amenities and today at Sun Belt Media Day, Teis announced that Bobcat stadium would have two new video boards ready for the kick off of the 2018 season.

The boards will be five times larger than the current boards which look like 72 inch LED screens in the confines of the stadium. The current boards will be moved over to the baseball and softball facilities. The present configuration has both boards at either corner of the south end zone. Construction photos indicate that's where the new boards will be as well.

For reference purposes you can see the current boards here:

Five times that current size, if accurate, is a big improvement over the current setup.

Texas State opens the season September 1st at Rutgers.
