Texas receiver Davion Curtis will transfer from the 40 acres according to multiple reports. Curtis, a three-star high school prospect from Temple, played sparingly in 2017 after redshirting in 2016. The Horns are stacked at receiver, so much so, that they should be able to handle transfers from Curtis and Reggie Hemphill-Mapps. Hemphill-Mapps moved on from Texas to Trinity Valley Junior College last spring.
Texas has one of the deepest receiving groups in the country with Collin Johnson, Devin Duvernay, John Burt, Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Jerrod Heard, and freshmen like Joshua Moore and Brennan Eagles.
Texas opens the season on September 1, 2018 at FedEx field against Maryland.
