Arizona State cornerback Dominque Harrison announced via Twitter his decision to make Denton his new home for the 2019 season. Harrison, a Houston native, and Blinn JUCO product played in spot duty for the Sun Devils, making four tackles last season.
Coming out of Blinn, Harrison chose the Sun Devils over West Virginia, Colorado, and Iowa State. He led Blinn with four interceptions in 2017. 24/7 ranked him as the 5th best JUCO corner prospect in the 2017 class. He signed with Fresno State out of Atascosita high school in northeast Houston.
Harrison missed most of ASU’s spring practice while nursing a hamstring injury. The Mean Green also added former South Carolina and Texas A&M defensive back Nick Harvey through the wonders of the transfer portal. North Texas is looking to replace two multi-year starters at corner in 2019.
